Job summary

Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for an enthusiastic and self-motivated professional to join the Aseptic Services team at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool. This new role offers progression for either a registered Pharmacy Technician or SMT Level 3, supporting high-quality medicines preparation for children.

You will work with pharmacy staff to supervise activities, ensure SOP and GMP standards, and contribute to a varied portfolio including cytotoxic items and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services or Level 3 Science Manufacturing Technician or equivalent.
• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council or Science Council.
• Commitment to undertake in-house training.
• Leeds APDM qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day aseptic services and products in the aseptic unit.
• Supervise preparation activities and maintain SOP/GMP compliance.
• Generate documentation for product preparation and maintain records.
• Stock checks and cleaning of the aseptic facility per procedures.
