Job summary

Academics Ltd. is recruiting an ASD Teaching Assistant for a Year 1 pupil in Wandsworth. The role is full-time/term-time, with the child needing support three days per week to stay on track and access the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a child with ASD in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork with teaching staff.
• Ability to implement de-escalation strategies and maintain a calm classroom.

Responsibilities

• Support a Year 1 pupil with ASD three days a week in class.
• Assist with curriculum access and in-class activities.
• Contribute to planning and delivering in-house training and SEN support.
