Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking an ASD Teaching Assistant for a Greenwich school on a full-time, long-term basis. The role offers a daily rate of £100–£116 and involves providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with autism to help them feel included and confident.

You will work closely with teachers, the SENCO and the wider support team, supporting personalised learning, behaviour strategies and daily routines in a calm, structured classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and proactive approach to support pupils.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Flexibility and resilience to respond to individual needs.
• Previous experience with autism or in a school is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with autism.
• Assist with personalised learning and behaviour strategies.
• Support pupils during lessons, activities and daily routines.
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive social development.
• Work closely with teachers, the SENCO and wider support team.
