Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Bridgend. You will work alongside teachers to support pupils aged 3–11, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3.30pm, in full-time positions.

Candidates with SEN experience are preferred. DBS Update Service or willingness to apply is required; full refunds on DBS if you work 20 days.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or adults with SEN is desirable.
• Available Monday to Friday, 8.30am–3.30pm.
• Willing to complete a DBS check via Update Service or pay for one via Tradewind refunds after 20 days worked.

Responsibilities

• Work on a 1:1 and small group basis with children who have additional needs.
• Support the class teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated sessions.
• Support children to thrive both academically and socially.
• Create a fun, safe and supportive environment for children to excel in school.
• Assist with break and lunch duties.

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide support to our Primary students in Schools in Bridgend.You will be working alongside the class teacher to provide support in lessons. The role will be working with pupils between 3-11 years old on a full time basis.

We are currently working with a number of Primary Schools who are looking for Teaching Assistants, we are also able to find a role that works for you.

The working hours for schools role are Monday to Friday 8.30am and 3.30pm. We are looking for candidates that want fulltime positions to fill he school requirements.

• Work on a 1:1 and small group basis with children who have additional needs.
• Supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated sessions.
• Supporting children to thrive both academically and socially.
• Create a fun, safe and supportive environment for children to thrive and excel in school.
• Assist with break and lunch duties.

Requirements:

• Must have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with SEN is desirable.
• Be available Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm for work.
• Be comfortable providing personal care if needed.
• Have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one. You will get a full refund with us when you work 20 days.
