Job summary

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School is seeking a teaching assistant to join our ASD Provision and support pupils with complex special needs. You will assist the teacher and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.

You will be required to be supportive of the Catholic ethos of our school and demonstrate good attendance and punctuality, versatility and enthusiasm in your role.

Qualifications

• Applicants should be appropriately qualified or have relevant skills and expertise.

Responsibilities

• supervise individuals and groups of pupils under the direction of teaching and senior staff.
• support access to learning and promote inclusion for all learners.
• provide targeted support for pupils within a school environment, including those with additional learning needs.
• contribute to a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes high expectations, pupil wellbeing and positive behaviour.
