Job summary

Axcis Education is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide individual support for a Year 4 pupil with ASD at a large primary school in Bracknell. The role emphasizes building a positive relationship with the pupil and helping them engage with learning using reward-based strategies.

The successful candidate will adapt approaches to maintain focus and work closely with the class teacher and school team. DBS check is required or may be processed by Axcis on your behalf.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with ASD or additional needs is highly desirable.
• Role requires Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for a Year 4 pupil with ASD in a large primary school.
• Help pupil stay focused, engaged and motivated during lessons.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and wider school team to support learning.
