We are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant for a role in an SEN school supporting children of secondary school age with Autism and PMLD. This position is based in the Bolton area.

The Learning Support Assistant’s job will be to assist the pupils in their learning and development and aid the teacher with delivering lessons.

The needs of these pupils are moderate to severe, therefore the successful candidate will have some experience with SEN either personally or professionally.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Safeguarding training or knowledge
• Experience of SEN
• Ability to build relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
• UK school experience
• Adaptable
• Kind, caring manner

This is a full-time role and will require a child and adult enhanced DBS.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
