Zest Education is supporting a specialist school in Hounslow that caters for pupils aged 6-19 with ASD and SEMH needs. The Teaching Assistant role focuses on ASC/SEMH support in small classes and offers training and supportive supervision.

We welcome candidates with SEND experience or transferable skills; psychology graduates are encouraged. Please note the role is full-time preferred, with part-time considered. Temp-to-perm with straight permanent contracts may be offered to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Autism (ASC) and SEMH needs.
• Work in small classes of 4-6 students on average.
• Assist with learning activities, emotional regulation and social development.
• Provide personal care if required with training provided.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to create a structured learning environment.
