We are looking for a dedicated and hard-working Learning Support Assistant to join our ASC Centre team at Banbury college. The successful applicants will be supporting students with Autism and other associated difficulties on courses designed for those with Autism and associated difficulties or supporting students to access their course. These courses range from Foundation Level 1 to Level 3. There will be an expectation to support in all areas.
This role is part time (21 hours per week working Monday, Thursday, and Fridays), permanent, term time only. Our centre opening hours are between 9am - 4.30pm.
This is a challenging role that requires resilience, motivation, initiative, and patience. You will be able to provide support to students with Autism and associated difficulties. Good communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with tutors and the coordination team. A qualification in Autism or related difficulties is not essential, but a willingness to learn is crucial.
