A leading housing association in the UK seeks an Asbestos Technical Lead Officer to provide leadership and technical support in compliance with asbestos regulations. The role includes line management of an Officer, implementing improvements, and ensuring effective communication. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and possess relevant qualifications. Salary: 47135 per annum to 52008 per annum dependant on experience plus 1300 Essential Car Allowance*
Grade: 9
Reporting Office: London Stratford
Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office / working location (hybrid working)

This an opportunity to join a new asbestos team that will deliver the full range of asbestos services and work to the highest standards to keep our residents, colleagues and contractors safe.
This role will be taking a lead position in keeping the residents, colleagues and contractors safe and compliant with the asbestos regulations and L&Q's policy. It is a real opportunity to be a key part of a new team and design, implement and influence our asbestos policies and working practices as well as providing technical knowledge and expertise where required. Reporting to the Compliance Manager we are looking for someone who wants to apply their experience to date to a large organisation and make a real difference to keeping people safe.
This role includes the line management and mentorship of one Asbestos Officer.
