Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is recruiting an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to deliver essential housing surveys for a local council. Role covers FM and targeted refurbishment surveys across domestic social housing stock, with data logged on a tablet and samples collected under HSG264.

You must hold BOHS P402, have a vehicle and valid license, and bring high attention to detail and strong time-management. This is a contractor role based in the UK.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) certification is essential.
• Experience conducting domestic asbestos surveys (social housing experience preferred).
• Own Vehicle & Valid Clean Driving License required for travel between sites.
• Own Tablet Device capable of running surveying software.
• High attention to detail, reliability, and strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out surveys on domestic social housing stock.
• Full Management (FM) / Re-inspection surveys (approx. 5 per day).
• Targeted Refurbishment surveys (approx. 6-7 per day).
• Log, record, and upload survey data using your tablet.
• Execute bulk sampling safely in line with HSG264 guidelines.
• Follow onboarding plan and council access protocols.
• Maintain excellent client-facing standards with local council tenants.
