Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a well-established UKAS-accredited consultancy in Leeds. The role covers Management and Refurbishment & Demolition surveys across Yorkshire and the North, with a varied workload and clear progression opportunities across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential sites.

The successful candidate will conduct surveys to HSG264 standards, prepare compliant reports, and liaise with clients and teams, while

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification (essential).
• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264.
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties.
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Managing your own diary and workload effectively.
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Maintaining accurate electronic records and survey documentation.
• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance.
