Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a well-established UKAS-accredited consultancy in Leeds. You will conduct Management and Refurbishment & Demolition surveys across diverse properties, ensuring compliance with HSG264 and UKAS procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience as an asbestos surveyor.
Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently.

Responsibilities

Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264.
Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties.
Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports.
Managing your own diary and workload effectively.
Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Maintaining accurate electronic records and survey documentation.
Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance.
