Job description

Here at Lucion, we are currently recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor to join our Infrastructure team. This is a field-based role where your nearest local office is likely to be our Sheffield facility. We are looking to offer the successful candidate a basic salary of between £26,000 - £38,000 depending on experience.

More About the Role:

• Carrying out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and inspection, including management, refurbishment and demolition surveys as well as soil investigation.
• Supporting the Infrastructure team with surveying for all relevant highway clients.
• Accurate collection of factual and numerical site data to automatically generate quality reports through our award-winning software, NexGen.
• Familiarity and compliance with all asbestos relevant legislation and guidance e.g., HSE and construction.
• Experience of working within a UKAS accredited organisation and familiarity with documents such as Lab 30 and RG8.
• Involvement in projects from start to finish, including preparing quotes, RAMS, site works, data analysis, interpretative reports and follow-up meetings with clients for further guidance.

More About You:

• BOHS P402, equivalent RSPH qualification or Certificate of Competence.
• Working knowledge of HSG:264 The Survey Guide.
• Full UK Driving Licence (manual).
• Flexible approach to travelling and working night shifts.
• Strong work ethic, with the ability to work effectively and intuitively alone or as part of a small team.
