Job summary

Mitie is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to perform a full range of surveying duties across domestic, commercial and industrial properties in Guildford. The role includes reporting, client support and technical guidance, with a base salary of £32,000–£40,000 and an OTE of £46,000.

A full UK driving licence and BOHS P402 are required, with a company car/van provided for travel. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including enhanced pension, share schemes, and access to lifestyle

Qualifications

BOHS P402 qualification or equivalent.
Experience in asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, and surveys across various properties per HSG264.
Collect site data and transport asbestos samples to UKAS‑accredited labs.
Complete asbestos survey reports and drawings using company software.
Build and maintain client relationships, offering specialist advice and technical support.
Liaise with internal teams and clients while promoting Mitie professionally.
