Job summary
A leading environmental consultancy in Maidstone is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to join their team. The role involves conducting asbestos surveys, collecting samples, and producing reports in line with HSG264 guidelines. Ideal candidates will have the BOHS P402 qualification and previous experience in a UKAS accredited environment. Qualifications
Must have BOHS P402 qualification or equivalent to ensure competency in asbestos management.
Experience required in working as an Asbestos Surveyor in a UKAS accredited environment.
Knowledge of HSG264 guidelines and current legislation is critical.
Responsibilities
Conduct Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition asbestos surveys according to HSG264 guidelines.
Collect bulk samples and maintain accurate documentation.
Produce detailed asbestos survey reports.
Conduct site inspections on commercial, industrial, and domestic properties.
Liaise with clients and team members for project success.
Skills
BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
Strong working knowledge of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
Excellent written reporting skills
Full UK driving licence
Strong communication and organisational skills
