Job summary

Element Materials Technology is recruiting an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst for a nuclear decommissioning site at Trawsfynydd, North Wales. You will join a team delivering surveys, air monitoring, and analytical services while upholding quality and safety standards.

The role requires BOHS P403/404/P402 or equivalent, experience with Certificate of Reoccupation and Air Monitoring, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• BOHS P403/P404 & P402 or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience conducting Certificate of Reoccupation, Certificate of Cleanliness and Air Monitoring.
• Experience in technical reviewing asbestos reports and air monitoring docs.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures for UKAS practices.
• Awareness of current trends in the asbestos industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication with deadlines and minimal supervision.
• Logical, structured approach with attention to detail.
• Confident, self-managed with good interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Represent Element professionally at all times.
• Conduct Certificate of Reoccupation, Certificate of Cleanliness and all Air Monitoring activities.
• Carry out reinspection and survey activities; collate reports and site plans.
• Ensure adherence to quality policies to maintain UKAS accreditation.
• Participate in internal audits and external proficiency schemes.
• Stay up to date with asbestos legislation and industry best practice.
• Maintain relevant qualifications to operate within the asbestos industry.
• Provide flexible support from Element offices or client sites as required.
