Job summary

SOCOTEC Building Control Ltd is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to join the Environment & Safety team. You will undertake asbestos surveys across various premises, liaise with clients and project managers, and accurately record site information and submit reports.

The role requires knowledge of HSG 264 and the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, BOHS P402 / RPSH Level 3, and a proactive, independent work style with teamwork when needed.

Qualifications

• Strong asbestos knowledge and understanding of regulations.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in asbestos surveying and reporting (preferred).

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Asbestos Surveyor to join our Environment & Safety team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in asbestos surveying, along with knowledge of HSG 264 and the Control of Asbestos Regulations (2012), is essential to thrive in this position.
