• Salary: £33,000 to £34,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience. Overtime, accommodation, and subsistence are provided when working away from home.

About the Role

Due to expansion, Mitie Environmental Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Asbestos Removal Operative to estimate and manage various projects across the UK. The role involves licenced and non-licenced asbestos removal, ensuring high standards of compliance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform asbestos removal projects adhering to safety and legislative standards.
• Construct compliant enclosures for licenced asbestos removal.
• Maintain detailed records, including timesheets, respirator checks, and health records.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation.
• Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and residents.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 24 months asbestos operative experience.
• Asbestos Medical and Face Fit Certificates.
• Knowledge of asbestos-related health and safety procedures.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel and work out of hours.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive safety culture.
