Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join a premier UK environmental compliance and specialist consultancy, mainly around Winchester, Hampshire. The role includes asbestos sampling, reinspections, and Management/Refurbishment/Demolition surveys in domestic, commercial, and industrial sites in strict accordance with HSG264.

You will gather on-site data, transport samples to UKAS laboratories, and generate technical survey reports and site drawings.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification is essential.
• Background in asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial or industrial sectors.
• Full UK Driving Licence required for travel across regional client sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, and surveys (Management, Refurbishment and Demolition) in line with HSG264.
• Gather on-site data and transport asbestos samples to UKAS laboratories.
• Generate technical survey reports and site drawings using electronic management software.
• Build and maintain client relationships and provide specialist guidance.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, as well as Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition surveys across domestic, commercial, and industrial sites in strict accordance with HSG264 regulations and internal procedures.
• Gather on-site data and transport asbestos samples to UKAS-accredited partner laboratories.
• Generate technical asbestos survey reports and site drawings using electronic management software.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, offering technical guidance and specialist advice.

Requirements

• BOHS P402 qualification (or recognized equivalent) is essential.
• Demonstrated background in asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial, or industrial sectors.
• Full UK Driving Licence (required for travel across regional client sites).
• Strong dedication to quality control, high safety standards, and clear reporting.
