Job summary

Rentokil Initial Group through DCUK seeks an Asbestos Supervisor to oversee removal operations across the Midlands, directing the work of operatives and ensuring safe, compliant execution.

You will adhere to Plans of Work, UK legislation, and internal safety SOPs, while delivering high-quality service and supervising field teams. A driver’s licence and asbestos awareness training are required, with progression opportunities within the Rentokil Initial family.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum working in an asbestos removal and supervisory environment
• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Asbestos Awareness training

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and directing asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning operations within the Utilities Sector
• Ensuring strict adherence to the issued Plans of Work, current UK legislation, comprehensive specifications, and the DCUK FM Ltd Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety guidelines
• Providing guidance and leadership to the Asbestos Removal Operatives
• Monitoring the proper usage, maintenance, and care of all provided Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protective Equipment, and Asbestos Removal plant and equipment, and promptly addressing any malfunctions or defects

The Role
