Job summary

LJ Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to lead site teams on asbestos removal projects across East Anglia. The role focuses on safety, compliance and delivering work to the highest standards.

You'll supervise from site set-up to completion, manage on-site teams and communicate with Contracts Managers, clients and regulators. Applicants should have at least 2 years’ experience, relevant qualifications (ACAD/ARCA/ARMI/CSCS Supervisor) and a UK driving licence;

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience as an Asbestos Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos and health & safety legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.
• SSSTS, SMSTS or BOHS P402 qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise asbestos removal projects from site set-up to completion.
• Lead and support site teams to deliver work safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with asbestos regulations, health & safety requirements and method statements.
• Complete site documentation and communicate effectively with Contracts Managers.

We're looking for a motivated, safety-focused professional to lead site teams, ensure compliance and deliver projects safely, on time and to the highest standards.

The Role

• Supervise asbestos removal projects from site set-up to completion
• Lead and support site teams to deliver work safely and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with asbestos regulations, health & safety requirements and method statements
• Complete site documentation and communicate effectively with Contracts Managers
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients and regulatory bodies

About You

You’ll have:

• At least 2 years’ experience as an Asbestos Supervisor
• ACAD, ARCA, ARMI or CSCS Supervisor qualification
• Strong knowledge of current asbestos and health & safety legislation
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• SSSTS, SMSTS or BOHS P402 qualifications are desirable
