Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Asbestos Site Analyst to operate across a portfolio of commercial, domestic, and industrial removals in Basildon and surrounding areas. The role requires BOHS P403/P404 or RSPH equivalents, strong communication, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Salary is £27k–£40k plus benefits and ongoing training. You will contribute to air monitoring, clearances, fibre counting, and reporting, while working with a growing South East team.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Asbestos Site Analyst.
• Robust knowledge of UKAS and HSG 248 guidelines.
• BOHS P403, P404 or RSPH equivalents.
• Strong communication skills and good literacy/IT proficiency.
• Hardworking attitude; committed to site-based work.
• Interest in P401/P402/P403/P404 or S301 CCP.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full air testing (personal, leak, smoke, background, personal and reassurance).
• Perform 4-stage clearances of varying size and scope.
• Work across a range of asbestos removal projects.
• Liaise with removals teams on site.
• Collect ACM samples for analysis.
• Count fibres and calibrate equipment.
• Carry out visual inspections.
• Produce detailed technical reports.
