Job summary

Smiths is hiring experienced Asbestos Removal Supervisors for a permanent, full-time PAYE position. This hands-on role involves leading teams on site and ensuring HSE compliance. Hourly rate is £16-£19, with 42.5 hours per week.

A strong team player is required to deliver results while maintaining safety standards. This position supports ongoing asbestos removal projects and requires valid CSCS card, driving license, and prior supervision experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year working as an Asbestos Supervisor.
• At least 2 years’ experience in Asbestos removal.
• CSCS card.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Site set up of documentation and physical set up of site.
• Supervision and leadership of a team of operatives.
• Maintenance of accurate and timely site records.
• Site housekeeping.
• Adherence to Health and Safety legislation.
• Ordering and receiving plant and materials.
• Updating the Asbestos Manager on progress and issues.
