AWE plc is recruiting for an Asbestos Management Operative for the Radiochemistry Group. The role involves inspecting buildings and structures to identify, test and manage asbestos-containing materials, with a focus on safety and compliance.

This position is based on RG7 4PR and requires full onsite work. Key duties include carrying out safety surveys, sampling materials and maintaining asbestos registers, while adhering to health and safety regulations and CAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with asbestos surveys and inspections.
• Familiar with health and safety compliance related to asbestos.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Carrying out safety surveys, collecting material samples, and maintaining the company asbestos registers.
