About the role:

Your main responsibilities will include managing and delivering the workflow of asbestos samples for preparation and analysis via Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), reporting, and assisting in weekly laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform laboratory duties, including sample preparation and analysis adhering to strict standards.

3. Enter data results accurately.
4. Write and formulate asbestos analysis reports.

Requirements:

• Experience with microscopes or SEM is essential.
• Experience in a UKAS accredited lab is preferred but training can be provided.

• Proactive, with excellent eyesight, calm, patient, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
