Job summary

Future Select Limited is seeking an Asbestos Laboratory Analyst in Scotland. You will analyse bulk ACM samples using stereo-microscopy and PLM, maintain records, and prepare test certificates in a dedicated UKAS-accredited lab.

Ideal candidates hold BOHS P401, have strong technical knowledge, and can work independently while managing time efficiently. Training and progression opportunities are offered in a friendly, growing team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyzing bulk ACM samples using stereo-microscopy and PLM methods
• Safety receiving and storing samples
• Updating internal records with test results
• Creating test certificates
• Calibrating equipment and organising any repairs / maintenance
• Ensuring to adhere to industry guidelines
• Keeping the laboratory clean and functional
• Maintaining own personal technical knowledge

Job Title: Asbestos Laboratory Analyst
Location: Motherwell, Central Scotland
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £31k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued growth, a UKAS accredited Asbestos Laboratory is seeking a detail-oriented Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their outfit. It is an essential requirement that applicants hold the BOHS P401 as a minimum, any further modules would be beneficial. Our client is a privately owned outfit, with a friendly feel and growing client base. They are able to consider both full-time and part-time applications and can offer great further training and progression to those who wish to build on their existing industry experience. Salaries and benefits packages on offer are competitive within the industry.
