Job Title: Asbestos Consultant

Location:

Company Overview:

We are recruiting for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy with a strong presence in the North of England. Due to onboarding new contracts, they are seeking an Asbestos Consultant to service clients along the M62 corridor. The ideal candidate will have surveying and analytical experience, but applications from qualified individuals with either specialization will be considered. Salaries are competitive, and benefits include overtime and training opportunities.

Leeds, Bradford, Batley, Halifax, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Garforth, Selby, Goole, Pontefract, Wetherby, Otley, Harrogate, Ilkley, Burnley, Blackburn, Preston, Barnsley, Keighley, Rochdale, Oldham, Stockport, Wilmslow, Altrincham, Manchester, Bolton, Warrington.

Experience / Qualifications:

1. Hands-on experience as an Asbestos Surveyor, Asbestos Analyst, or combined roles within a UKAS accredited company.
2. Qualified with BOHS P402 (surveying) and P403 & P404 (analytical), or RSPH equivalents.
3. Knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 & 248 guidelines.
4. Excellent client-facing skills.
5. Strong written and IT skills.
6. Flexibility to travel as required.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Conduct management, refurbishment, and demolition asbestos surveys in commercial and industrial settings.
2. Collect ACM samples on-site.
3. Perform 4 Stage Clearances, leak, background, reassurance, and personal air monitoring.
4. Prepare detailed survey reports with risk assessments and recommendations.
5. Meet with clients to discuss findings.
6. Supervise removal projects, ensuring safety and compliance.
7. Maintain the company's reputation for quality and safety.
