Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking a Workplace Compliance Manager to lead workplace compliance, facilities services, and statutory obligations across its office estate in the UK. You will drive a strong SHEQ culture, ensure legal compliance, and manage audits and data analysis.

The role requires BOHS qualification, extensive experience in social housing or maintenance, and a full UK driving licence. DBS check is required, and a competitive package with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• BOHS Qualified (minimum).
• Experience within social housing, maintenance, or minor works projects.
• Strong knowledge of Asbestos related legislation and best practices.
• Experience with audits, reporting, and compliance systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, organised, and able to work independently.
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Office essential; SHEQ systems desirable).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Promote and implement a strong SHEQ culture aligned with a “Zero Harm” approach.
• Ensure full compliance with SHEQ policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Carry out regular site audits, inspections, and safety tours.
• Own and lead the development of the company Asbestos procedures.
• Support ISO audits and maintain SHEQ systems and documentation.
• Monitor and analyse data to identify trends and improvements.
• Support in incident investigation as subject matter expert.
• Encourage reporting of hazards, near misses, and incidents.
• Support, attend and guide site teams.
• Attend SHEQ meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
