Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Worthing is seeking an experienced Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst to join our client’s UKAS-accredited laboratory. The role focuses on bulk asbestos analysis, with a stable workload and opportunities for professional development in a supportive environment.

You'll ensure accurate recording of results, maintain QA procedures, and support daily lab operations, with flexitime and long-term career progression on offer.

Qualifications

• BOHS P401 (essential).
• Previous Bulk Asbestos Analyst experience.
• Experience in a UKAS-accredited laboratory preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing bulk asbestos samples in accordance with UKAS and HSE guidance.
• Accurately recording and reporting analytical results.
• Maintaining laboratory quality standards and procedures.
• Ensuring laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated where required.
• Supporting the wider laboratory team with daily operations.
• Working efficiently to meet turnaround times while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
