Riverside Environmental Services in the UK seeks an Asbestos Bulk Analyst to join our laboratory team in a UKAS-accredited environment. Based in Kent, you will perform asbestos bulk sample analysis and deliver accurate reports to support client projects across the UK.

The role requires BOHS P401 qualification, prior asbestos laboratory experience, strong attention to detail, good IT/report-writing skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• BOHS P401 qualification in asbestos bulk analysis.
• Experience in an asbestos laboratory environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good IT and report-writing skills.
• Understanding of UKAS standards and asbestos regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse asbestos bulk samples using approved laboratory techniques.
• Identify asbestos-containing materials and produce detailed reports.
• Ensure work complies with UKAS requirements and HSG248 guidance.
• Maintain accurate records and laboratory documentation.
• Support quality control and internal audits as needed.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and safety protocols.
• Prioritise workloads to meet client deadlines.
• Collaborate with surveyors, analysts and operations team.
