Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking an experienced ASB Professional to join a local housing organisation in Manchester. Reporting to the Community Safety Manager, the ASB Officer will tackle anti-social behaviour, support residents and work with partners to resolve safety concerns.

The role covers tenants in parts of the South Manchester area with a flexible approach, including occasional evenings. A full UK driving licence is required, and candidates should have strong communication, safeguarding knowledge

Qualifications

• Experience in community safety, housing management, ASB, enforcement, or similar frontline role.
• Strong communication skills, able to manage challenging conversations calmly and professionally.
• Confident working independently with a varied caseload and sound decision-making.
• Good understanding of safeguarding, risk management and health & safety in community work.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, including record-keeping.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings as required.
• Full UK driving licence (or ability to travel independently).

We are looking to recruit an experienced ASB Professional to join an established team for a local housing organisation. Reporting to their Community Safety Manager, Community Safety Officers play a key part in helping us create safer neighbourhoods. This is done by tackling anti-social behaviour, supporting residents, and working closely with partners to resolve community safety concerns.

This position is responsible for tenants in parts of the South Manchester area, and successful candidates will be expected to work across this locality on a regular basis.

This role supports more stable, safer neighbourhoods and helps residents feel protected, listened to and supported. Your work will help prevent issues from escalating and ensure concerns are addressed fairly, consistently and effectively.

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience working in community safety, housing management, ASB, enforcement or a similar frontline role.
