Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Ltd seeks a QMS Engineer to lead the AS9100/EN9100 QMS implementation at a Cambridge greenfield site. The role is a 6-month initial contract Inside IR35, with responsibility to drive certification and embed quality across the organisation.

Ideal candidates will have senior quality experience in highly regulated manufacturing, capability to influence stakeholders, and a track record of delivering successful external audits against AS9100/EN9100 or ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a full AS9100/EN9100 or ISO 9001 QMS implementation.
• Background in aerospace, defence, automotive or other regulated manufacturing.
• Experience preparing businesses for external certification audits.
• Independent worker able to drive a project with minimal supervision.
• Audits, CAPA, root cause analysis and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a full AS9100/EN9100 QMS implementation and accreditation programme.
• Coordinate with Head of Quality and operations to embed standards.
• Prepare for external certification audits and manage timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement and preventive actions across site.
