Job summary

RedRock Resourcing is seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in IBM AS/400 environments to support critical year-start activities and an ERP migration. You will map legacy data, validate reports and calculations, document processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data integrity in the new platform.

This role focuses on understanding legacy structures, dependencies, and the accurate reproduction of reporting logic in the ERP solution.

Qualifications

Experience as a Data Analyst or similar technical data-focused role.
Hands-on experience with IBM AS/400 / IBM i systems.
Experience with AS/400 year-start or year-end processes.
Understanding of legacy data structures, table relationships and dependencies.
Experience analysing business reports, calculations and reporting logic.
Exposure to ERP migrations, data mapping or legacy system transformation.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to document complex processes clearly.

Responsibilities

Year-start preparation: Support input and validation of year-start data.
Data analysis and mapping: Review AS/400 data structures to support migration.
Reporting analysis: Investigate reports and reproduce logic in the new environment.
Process documentation: Document batch jobs, data flows and processes.
ERP migration support: Translate legacy data into usable information for the new platform.
Data integrity: Identify dependencies and ensure consistency between reports.
