Qualifications

• Recent hands-on reverse-engineering of a complex legacy app and databases.
• Proficient in advanced SQL to interrogate schemas and data structures.
• Ability to produce formal current-state data manuals and ERDs.
• Experience documenting tables, keys, indexes and dependencies.
• Ability to trace data flows across apps, DBs and APIs.
• Ability to validate findings with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyse current app and data environment to map operation and data structure.
• Produce a comprehensive current-state documentation pack.
• Document source-to-target mappings and transformation rules.
• Work with architects, developers and migration teams.
