Job summary

Maybourne Hotel Group is seeking a Supervisor for Claridge's ArtSpace Café to lead the cafe team, deliver five-star service, and uphold luxury standards. You will train staff, manage service flow on the cafe floor, and ensure guest experiences are consistently exceptional.

The role requires experience in a similar five-star environment, a passion for food and beverage, and the ability to motivate a team while maintaining compliance with licensing and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within five-star or fine dining.
• Passion for food and beverage with excellent knowledge.
• Confident in leading, supporting and motivating a team.
• Skilled at managing service flow during busy periods.
• Understanding of Forbes and LQA standards.

Responsibilities

• Create memorable experiences for our guests, ensuring service is prompt and professional.

• Assist and train the ArtSpace Café team, as well as being in charge of the Café when required.

As Supervisor you will be responsible for:

• Creating memorable experiences for our guests, simultaneously ensuring that service is prompt and professional.
• Leading the service on the cafe floor
• Assisting and training the ArtSpace Café team, as well as being in charge of the Café when required.
• Maintaining a good knowledge of regular guests and customers.
• Ensuring that licensing laws, health and safety legislation is adhered to.

Successful candidates for our Supervisor opportunity will:

• Have worked in a similar role, within a five star or fine dining environment.
• Have a passion for food and beverage with excellent knowledge.
• Be confident in leading, supporting and motivating a team.
• Be skilled at managing service flow and stepping in to support during busy periods.
• Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories.
• Be a team player who is an avid learner who wants to be challenged and developed.
• Have a thorough understanding of Forbes and LQA Standards.
