Job summary

A local organization in Tamworth is seeking volunteers to assist at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms. This role involves welcoming guests, helping with events, and supporting the community while gaining valuable experience. Location: Tamworth Assembly Rooms, Corporation Street, Tamworth

Hours: Flexible, various shifts available

Start Date: To be agreed

Are you passionate about theatre, live music, and community events? Do you love meeting new people and want to be part of Tamworth’s vibrant arts scene?

What will you do?
  • Welcoming guests and helping them find their seats
  • Assisting at the Box Office and Front of House
  • Supporting events, performances, and community activities
  • Selling programmes, refreshments, and merchandise
  • Helping with behind-the-scenes tasks to keep our venue running smoothly
  • Social media posts
  • Sales & marketing

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for friendly, reliable people aged 16+ who enjoy working with the public. No previous experience is needed — just enthusiasm, a can‑do attitude, and a love of the arts!
