City of Norwich School, An Ormiston Academy invites applications for an Art Technician to join the Creative Technologies faculty, supporting teaching through prep, maintenance and safe use of art materials, tools and equipment.

This part-time role runs 7 hours per week for 40 weeks per year (term-time plus 2 weeks). You will help stock, display work and assist with Open Evenings and exhibitions, ensuring a well-equipped learning environment.

Qualifications

• You’re organised, enthusiastic and flexible with strong numeracy, literacy and ICT skills.
• At least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (or equivalent Level 2).
• A Level 3 qualification would be a bonus but isn’t essential.

Responsabilités

• Prepare materials and resources for teachers and students’ practical work.
• Keep Art equipment safe, clean and functional.
• Support students and staff in the safe use of equipment and materials.
• Supervise students in lessons under teaching staff guidance.
• Assist with ordering supplies and stock control with the Faculty Leader.
