Role: Art Technician (Term Time Only)

Hours: 13 hours per week

Salary: £23,370.00 - £24,429.00 (Full Time Equivalent)

Employer Pension Contribution: 20.8% (£4,860.96 - £5,081.23 FTE)

The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) is seeking an experienced Art Technician to contribute to our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.

This role is a pivotal position within our Creative Arts team, supporting the delivery of visual art education by preparing materials and handling student artworks.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

1. Ensuring cleanliness and organization of art supplies and equipment.
2. Completing maintenance and repair of equipment, including reporting and recording where necessary.
3. Preparing art-based provisions: assisting in preparing class materials and resources.
4. Collaborating with stakeholders: working closely with teaching staff and learners to facilitate art classes and practical sessions.
5. Being responsible for the storage, maintenance, and repair of equipment, including arranging for specialized maintenance as required, and keeping an updated equipment inventory.
6. Ensuring adequate stocks of materials are available, submitting orders as appropriate via the designated administrative staff.
7. Checking deliveries and maintaining stock records as necessary.
