Role: Art Technician (Term Time Only)

Hours: 13 hours per week

Salary: £23,370.00 - £24,429.00 (Full Time Equivalent)

Employer Pension Contribution: 20.8% (£4,860.96 - £5,081.23 FTE).

Location: Stockport Campus

The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) is seeking an experienced Art Technician to contribute to our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.

About The Role

This role is a pivotal position within our Creative Arts team , supporting in the delivery of of visual art education by preparing material and handling student artworks.

The Responsibilities Of This Role Will Include

• Ensuring cleanliness and organization of art supplies and equipment.
• Completing Maintenance and repair of equipment, including reporting and recording where necessary.
• Prepare Art-Based Provisions: Assisting in preparing class materials and resources.
• Collaborating with Stakeholders: Working closely with teaching staff and learners to facilitate art classes and practical sessions.
• Being responsible for the storage, maintenance and repair of equipment, including reporting and recording where necessary. Arranging for specialised maintenance to be undertaken as required and ensure that an equipment inventory is kept and updated.
• Ensuring that adequate stocks of materials are available, submitting orders as appropriate via the designated member of the administrative staff.
• Checking deliveries and updating/maintaining stock records as necessary
