Job summary

Uplands Academy is seeking an Art Technician to support the Art Department. This part-time, term-time role runs 20 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 9am–2pm with flexible days. Start date is as soon as possible.

The salary range reflects a Grade 4 point 9–10 within the Local Government Pension Scheme framework. You will prepare resources, assist with projects, and contribute to an inspiring learning environment for students.

• Strong organisational skills and reliability.

Grade/Salary: Single Status Grade 4, Points 9-10 (starting point 9), currently £25,185-£25,583. Actual salary - £11,761

Contract: Permanent, part time, term time only, 20 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 9am - 2pm (days and times are flexible)

Uplands Academy a mixed 11-16 non‑selective converter academy with approximately 835 students. Uplands is situated in Wadhurst, a small, rural town in East Sussex with traditional, independent shops in a warm and friendly local community. Wadhurst is close to Royal Tunbridge Wells which is approximately seven miles north with its bustling shopping centre, iconic landmarks and thriving social scene and fascinating architecture. Alot of our staff commute to us from a variety of places such as the south coast including Hastings and Eastbourne together with other locations across Kent and Sussex.
