Job summary

Cedars Upper School is seeking an Art Technician to provide technical and practical support to the Art Department, assisting in the delivery of lessons and workshops. You will help prepare materials, set up equipment, and support teachers to enrich student learning and achievement within the school’s ethos and improvement plan.

The role is 30 hours per week, permanent/term-time only plus 5 training days, with NJC scale L2 pay (£17,672–£17,951). Closing date is 12pm on Sunday 30th August 2026.

We are seeking to appoint a committed Art Technician to provide technical and practical support to the Art Department, ensuring the smooth delivery of lessons and workshops. By supporting effective teaching and learning, the technician enriches the educational experience for all, helping to enhance student attainment and achievement while aligning with the School Improvement Plan and the school's ethos, aims, and vision.
