Job summary

Education Personnel are recruiting an Art Teacher for a Nottingham secondary school. The role is full-time, starting April 2026, with a pay rate of £130-£230 per day depending on experience.

QTS is required and a minimum of 6 months UK secondary Art teaching experience is expected. The post may involve KS3/KS4 delivery, with KS5 teaching possible for experienced applicants. Immediate start available.

Overview

Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected secondary school in Nottingham to recruit a dedicated Art Teacher for a full-time position starting April 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Art educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS4 and potentially Art KS5.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver the KS3 & KS4 Art curriculum, with KS5 teaching available if experienced.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess Art lessons in line with department policy.
  • Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Contribute to department improvement planning.
  • Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents' evenings as required.
Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching Art experience in a UK secondary setting.
  • Is passionate about Business education and student achievement.
  • Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life.
