Job summary

CER Education Recruitment is currently working with a large trust in Harrogate to recruit an Art Teacher for an October/November 2026 start. The role is full-time and initially runs until the Christmas break, with a view to permanence.

The trust offers well-resourced departments and supportive staff ethos, suitable for experienced teachers or Newly-Qualified Teachers (ECTs) to apply. Applicants must have KS3/KS4 Art experience and a recognised UK teaching qualification, with a UK school

Qualifications

• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Art.
• Experience working in a UK school.
• Ability to deliver inspiring and engaging lessons.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Art lessons to KS3/KS4.
• Contribute to department and maintain classroom management.

Job description

I am working exclusively with a large trust within the Harrogate area that require an Art Teacher, starting in October / November 2026. The role is full-time and will run until the Christmas break in the first instance, with a view to becoming permanent, if applicable.

The trust has well-established systems, resources and supportive staff ethos, helping all staff members to embed themselves well.

The trust are open to applications from experienced practitioners, as well as Newly-Qualified Teacher / Early Careers Teacher (ECT's).

To be considered for the position of Art Teacher you must:

• Have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Art
• Must have experience working within a UK school
• Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons
• Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification
