This Art Teacher role is perfect for someone passionate about helping students express themselves creatively through various artistic media. The department is equipped with modern facilities including a ceramics studio, a digital suite, and dedicated exhibition space.
As an Art Teacher, you will:
Teach Art across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for the right candidate)
Develop lessons that explore a range of techniques and global artistic traditions
Encourage critical thinking, personal expression, and collaborative projects
Support students in preparing portfolios and exhibitions
Plan and lead art-related trips and workshops
Contribute to school-wide creative initiatives and cultural events
Work closely with colleagues in the wider Creative Arts faculty
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related discipline
UK QTS or PGCE in Secondary Art
A deep understanding of both traditional and contemporary art practices
A track record of inspiring creativity in young people
