Exciting Opportunity: Art Teacher needed in Darlington!

Are you a passionate Art teacher looking for a fresh start in September 2025? Our client school in Darlington has an exciting opening for an Art Teacher, and we welcome both Early Career Teachers (ECT) and Fully Qualified Teachers (FQT) to apply!

Position Details:

• Role: Art Teacher
• Pay: £161.31 to £251.71 per day (to scale)
• Contract: Full-Time
• Start Date: September 2025 or sooner if available

About the Role:

• Teach KS3 and KS4 Art to students with varying abilities
• Plan, deliver, and assess creative and engaging Art lessons
• Utilize excellent facilities and state-of-the-art equipment
• Get involved with a variety of extracurricular activities that inspire students beyond the classroom

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of the Art curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A child-only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply, with our help)
• Two professional references from recent employment
