Sotheby’s is seeking a Greenford Park Warehouse Manager to oversee the site, ensure safe handling, storage, and release of artworks, and lead a team of on‑site technicians. This role requires leadership, art handling experience, and strong organizational skills to coordinate with specialists and facilities teams.

The position involves collaboration with risk, security, seller operations, and client experience, with a focus on operational excellence and timely execution across the artwork

Qualifications

• Proven experience in art handling and warehouse leadership within an auction house.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Confident communicator with a professional and calm approach.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse ensuring efficient receiving, storage, handling, movement and preparation for transportation of artworks.
• Collaborate with the New Bond Street Gallery Manager to schedule all internal sales transport between Greenford Park & New Bond Street.
• Plan and implement budgetary requirements with regards to overtime, external support and internal transport.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the onsite technician team to deliver exceptional service standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain security procedures.
