Job summary

Christie’s King Street is seeking an Incoming Goods & Collections Technician to support efficient receipt, preparation, storage, movement and release of client property. You will ensure accurate processing, safe handling, and timely availability for photography, sale, storage and collection, while delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in fine art handling, warehouse operations or collections.
• Good understanding of artwork handling and packing techniques.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming client property per procedures.
• Unpack, condition check, measure, tag and prepare property for photography and cataloguing.
• Coordinate with departments and photographers to ensure availability of property.
• Assist with scheduling incoming deliveries and transfers between storage locations.
• Prepare sold property for client collection and release and manage documentation.
