Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced Art / DT Technician for a welcoming Croydon school. This full-time role supports art and design & technology lessons, workshops and classrooms.

You will prepare materials, organise equipment, ensure safety and help students and teachers deliver creative projects in a collaborative environment. A relevant degree is preferred; opportunities for professional development and progression are offered.

• Relevant degree preferred.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organise and maintain materials, tools and equipment for Art and DT lessons.
• Support teachers and students with practical activities and creative projects.
• Ensure workshops, studios and equipment are safe, clean and well maintained.
• Manage stock levels and order materials and resources when required.
• Provide practical and technical support across the Art and DT departments.
• Contribute to a positive, creative and engaging learning environment.
• Follow and promote appropriate health and safety procedures.
