Amiqus - Games Recruitment Specialists is partnering with a Hertfordshire-based video games studio to recruit an Art Director/Lead Artist. The role is hands-on, focusing on stylised 3D characters and environments, with flexibility to specialise in either area.

Job description

We have partnered with an exciting video games studio based in Hertfordshire, who require an Art Director/Lead Artist to work on a range of new titles on PC and Console platforms. The studio has built a fantastic reputation and are known for their high-quality output, close relationship building and have worked on a series of greatly received titles, some of which have earned several 9/10 and 10/10 reviews.

This is a creative role with a major focus on “hands on” work, creating stylised characters and environments. Although this is an ideal role for a generalist, the studio is open to someone who specialises in either characters or environments as well. The key is a passion for video games and creating colourful and fun worlds for players to enjoy!

This role is hybrid working, with 2 days in-house and 3 days working remotely.
